Google Inc. will launch a new music store Wed., according to a new report.
The company is said to have secured two out of four major music labels – Universal Music and EMI. Negotiations with Warner Music and Sony Music are pending.
The music store is said to offer cloud storage to allow users to access music from home and Android-based mobile devices.
In addition, users are said to be able to share music with others through Google+ before prompting borrowers to purchase the music.
The music store will be fully integrated with Google search results via the web and Android mobile search to offer an edge over rival stores like Apple Inc.’s iTunes or Amazon.com’s Music division.
