Retailer Amazon.com Inc. this week said it will offer content from Walt Disney Co. Amazon Prime members in a new streaming partnership.
The agreement includes 800 titles from ABC Studios, The Disney Channel, ABC Family, and Marvel. Titles include Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, Felicity, Phineas & Ferb, X-Men Evolution, Greek, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
Amazon in Oct. began offering a selection of TV and movie content from Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp.
Amazon currently has content distribution deals with CBS Corp., NBCUniversal Media LLC, Sony Corp. and Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
The retailer said the addition of Fox content brings a total of 11,000 movies and TV shows available for streaming via Amazon Prime Instant Videos.
Amazon Video can be viewed via a PC or through Amazon Instant Video TVs and Devices.
Amazon Prime is a premium service that costs $79 per year and allows customers to receive free two-day shipping, $3.99 one-day shipping, and instant streaming access to movie and TV content.
