Pre-order sales for Nintendo Co.’s The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Gold Remote Bundle for the Wii struck the top five sales at GameStop Corp.’s online division amid strong demand.

This week, the The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Gold Remote Bundle ranked as No. 5 best-selling pre-order product at Gamestop.com.

The The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Gold Remote Bundle will include The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Music CD soundtrack, and a Gold Wii Remote with Triforce symbol at $69.99.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, to be sold Nov. 20, is the latest entry in the RPG franchise. It will include Wii MotionPlus functionality to simulate sword fighting, and Nunchuk functionality to simulate shield use.

Select enemies require vertical or horizontal sword strikes to be defeated. Also, puzzles will utilize the 1-to-1 tracking of the Wii MotionPlus.

The standard SKU will include a music CD featuring orchestral arrangements of select songs.

Nintendo in May began sale of the Wii Mario Kart Bundle, which includes the Wii hardware, Mario Kart Wii, and a Wii Wheel at $149.99.

In addition, Nintendo in May began sale of new Nintendo Selects titles for Wii at $19.99 each.

New Wii products to be sold in 2011 include Kirby’s Return to Dream Land in Oct. and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Gold Remote Bundle in Nov.
