Apple Inc. this week updated the MacBook Pro notebook line with new CPU, hard drive, and graphics card upgrades.

The MacBook Pro 13-inch SKU includes a new 2.4Ghz Dual Core Intel i5 CPU, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive at $1,199.99.

The prior SKU held a 2.3GHz Dual-Core CPU and 320GB hard drive.

The premium 13-inch SKU include the 2.8Ghz Dual Core Intel i5 CPU, 4GB RAM and 750GB hard drive at $1499.99.

The prior model held a 2.7Ghz Dual-Core CPU and a 500GB hard drive.

The MacBook Pro 15-inch entry SKU now includes 2.2Ghz Quad-Core Intel i7 and a new AMD Radeon HD 6750M with 512MB RAM at $1799.99.

The MacBook Pro 15-inch premium SKU includes a 2.4Ghz Quad-Core Intel i7 and a new AMD Radeon HD 6770M with 1GB RAM at $2199.99.

Finally, the 17-inch SKU includes the 2.4GHz Quad-Core Intel i7, 4GB RAM, 750GB hard drive, AMD Radeon HD 6770M with 1GB RAM sells at $2499.99.

Apple in Oct. released iOS 5 for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices.

In addition, Apple this month launched iCloud, a free cloud online storage service, and iTunes 10.5.

Apple in Oct. said fourth quarter profit increased to $6.62 billion to increase from $4.31 billion, a 54 percent increase from one year prior.
