EA Inc.’s Star Wars: The Old Republic for the PC beamed to the top five at Amazon.com Inc. this week post release date announcement for the title.
This week, the Star Wars: The Old Republic ranked as the No. 4 product in Amazon’s Video Games division.
Developer Bioware Inc. this week said EA Inc.’s Star Wars: The Old Republic for the PC will be sold Dec. 20 in the U.S. and Dec. 22 in Europe.
The Star Wars: The Old Republic Collector’s Edition will include the Gentle Giant Darth Malgus statue, collectible metal case, The Journal of Master Gnost-Dural, Star Wars: The Old Republic galaxy map, Music of Star Wars: The Old Republic CD, Collector’s Edition box, and seven digital items at $149.95.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is an MMORPG that allows users to create a custom Light or Dark Side character and engage in duels and large-scale multiplayer battles.
The final game will allow users to pilot a personal Starship and include player-vs.-player Warzones, multi-player Flashpoints, multi-group Operations, guilds, auction houses, crafting, and mounts.
Microsoft Corp. in 2012 will sell the limited edition Xbox 360 Limited Edition Star Wars Kinect Bundle.
The bundle will include a R2-D2 blue-and-white themed 320GB console, custom Xbox 360 Wireless Controller inspired by C-3PO, white Kinect sensor, Kinect Star Wars game at $449.99.
