Media Create Co. this week said the Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 ranked No. 1 in hardware sales in the latest Japan retail activity.
The PS3 sold 64,786 units between Sept. 5 to Sept. 11 to rank No. 1 in overall hardware sales.
The company this week released an updated agreement, which removes the ability to file or be part of a class action lawsuit, to all Playstation Network that must agree to the new terms in order to use the online service.
Users who wish to opt out of class action option can write a letter to the company in order to retain the right to do so.
New Playstation Move compatible titles include LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack: Rise of the Cakeling DLC (Sept. 13), Everybody Dance (Oct. 18), infamous: Festival of Blood DLC (Oct. 25), Carnival Island (Nov. 15), EyePet & Friends (Nov. 15), and Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest (Nov. 15).

Sony Corp. this week said it will begin sale of the Playstation Vita in Japan Dec. 17.
In addition, Japan consumers can pre-order the new handheld beginning Oct. 15.
Sony Corp. this week said the battery life of the Playstation Vita will last between three to five hours depending on usage.
The company this week said the handheld will offer three to five hours battery life for gaming, five hours of video playback, or nine hours of music playback.
The device will include a 2,200 mAh battery and take two hours and 40 minutes to charge.
Namco Bandai Games America Inc. this week said it will release Shinobido 2: Tales of the Ninja to Sony Corp.’s Playstation Vita in 2012.
