Pre-order sales for Nintendo Co.’s The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Gold Remote Bundle for the Wii climbed this week at Amazon.com Inc. upon availability at the retailer.

This week, the The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Gold Remote Bundle held a 50 percent sales increase to rank at No. 4 in Amazon’s Video Games division.

The The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Gold Remote Bundle will include The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Music CD soundtrack, and a Gold Wii Remote with Triforce symbol at $69.99.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, to be sold Nov. 20, is the latest entry in the RPG franchise. It will include Wii MotionPlus functionality to simulate sword fighting, and Nunchuk functionality to simulate shield use.

Select enemies require vertical or horizontal sword strikes to be defeated. Also, puzzles will utilize the 1-to-1 tracking of the Wii MotionPlus.

The standard SKU will include a music CD featuring orchestral arrangements of select songs.

Nintendo in May began sale of the Wii Mario Kart Bundle, which includes the Wii hardware, Mario Kart Wii, and a Wii Wheel at $149.99.

In addition, Nintendo in May began sale of new Nintendo Selects titles for Wii at $19.99 each.

New Wii titles in 2011 include the Wii Play: Motion with Black Wii Remote Plus SKU and Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident.
