Verizon Wireless this week said it will sell Motorola Mobility Inc.’s Droid Bionic smartphone Sept. 8 at $299.99 with a two-year contract.

The Droid Bionic includes a 1Ghz Dual-Core CPU, 4.3 inch qHD display, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage, 8MP camera with 1080 HD video recording, HDMI out port, and 4G LTE functionality.

In addition, the device will support the Motorola Lapdock to offer notebook functionality via a phone dock. It will sell at $300.

The Lapdock dock feature was introduced with the Motorola Atrix 4G via AT&T Inc.

Verizon 4G LTE service offers customers 5 to 12Mbps download speeds and 2 to 5Mbps upload speeds in available areas.
