Pinball FX2 includes single-player and split-screen local multiplayer options. Players use to the controller triggers to access each flipper.
The Ms. Splosion Man table, based on the character in Ms. Splosion Man developed by Twisted Pixel, offers a bright pink table with various loops and extra gates to trigger bonus points and an explosion under Ms. Splosion herself.
The board retains the top physics engine found in Pinball FX2 with lifelike ball reaction between each board bounce.
The final board includes a battle with the Mighty Eternal to save Splosion Man.
The graphics engine is solid at 60 frames-per-second. Combo triggers and bonuses result in well-produced special effects. The soundtrack is upbeat to compliment the colorful board.
