Apple Inc. this week said it will open its first retail store in Hong Kong at the International Finance Center Mall in the Central shopping and business district.

Bloomberg this week reported the store will open a two-story, 20,000 square-foot store this quarter.

The IFC retail store will be the fifth Apple Store in China.

Future locations may include Causeway Bay at Lee Gardens and Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Apple in July said it sold 20.34 million iPhones, 9.25 million iPads, and 7.54 million iPods in the third quarter.
