Lenovo Group Limited this week said it will sell the new A1 Tablet this fall at $199.

The A1 will include a 1Ghz Cortex A8 CPU, 1024 x 600 capacitive touch-screen display, built-in GPS, 3MP front and rear cameras, 2GB of internal storage, SD card slot, micro-USB port, 7-hour battery, and Google Inc.’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

The final SKU will include access to the Lenovo App Shop that features 200 with 7-inch display support.

While the $199 8GB SKU is said to ship in Europe, the U.S. will receive a 16GB SKU at $249 and a 32GB SKU at $299.

Current competitors in the tablet space include Apple Inc.’s iPad, Acer Inc.’s Iconia and Transformer SKUs, Samsung Group’s Galaxy Tab, and Motorola Mobility Inc.’s XOOM.
