Capcom Co. this week released the trailer for Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor for the Kinect hardware for the Xbox 360.

The new trailer includes first-person action in a future war to be partially controlled using motion-sensing functionality from the Kinect hardware.

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor will utilize an Xbox 360 controller to move, aim and fire main guns. The Kinect will offer supplementary actions from starting the engine, operating the scope, or high-fiving a comrade to keep his focus in the mission.

It will be sold in 2012.

Microsoft this holiday will sell the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Star Wars Kinect Bundle, which will include the R2-D2 blue-and-white themed 320GB console, custom Xbox 360 Wireless Controller inspired by C-3PO, white Kinect sensor, Kinect Star Wars game at $449.99.

Microsoft in June said it has sold 10 million Kinect and 10 million stand-alone Kinect titles globally.

Kinect, released Nov. 4, sells at $149.99.

Kinect launch titles include Kinect Sports, Kinect Joy Ride, Kinect Adventures!, Kinectimals, Game Party: In Motion, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, Dance Central, The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout, and Sonic Free Riders.

Bundle SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Special Edition Bundle at $399.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundle at $299.99.
