The PS3 sold 23,322 units between July 11 and July 17 to rank No. 3 in overall hardware sales.
By comparison, the hardware sold 22,900 the week prior.
The hardware ranked one title in the top 10, Konami Corp.’s Powerful Pro Baseball at No. 1 with 117,759 copies sold.
Multiplayer Beta modes will include Team Deathmatch and Chain Reaction.
Sony this week said it will release Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection to U.S. retail Sept. 29.

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 hardware fell under 2,000 units in the latest Japan retail figures.
Media Create Co. on Fri. reported that the Xbox 360 sold 1,734 units between July 11 and July 17 to rank No. 7 in overall sales.
By comparison, the hardware sold 2,016 units the week prior.
The hardware did not rank any titles in the top 10 game sales.
Microsoft this week recorded a profit in the Xbox business amid strong demand for the hardware.
The Entertainment and Devices division, which includes the Xbox business, recorded revenue of $1.48 billion, an increase of $1.41 billion one year earlier.
The division held operating profit of $32 million compared to a loss of $172 million one year ago.
Microsoft sold 1.7 million Xbox 360 units in the quarter, an increase of 18 percent from year prior.
Microsoft this week said it will release the limited edition Xbox 360 Limited Edition Star Wars Kinect Bundle this holiday.
The bundle will include a R2-D2 blue-and-white themed 320GB console, custom Xbox 360 Wireless Controller inspired by C-3PO, white Kinect sensor, Kinect Star Wars game at $449.99.
The mandatory System Update does not include any new features and is said to prepare for new system enhancements later this year.
Activision Publishing Inc. this week said it will release GoldenEye 007: Reloaded.
GoldenEye 007: Reloaded will include a brand new HD engine at 60 frames-per-second, the classic story campaign, and new Mi6 Ops Missions to challenge users in Assault, Elimination, Stealth and Defense objectives. It will be sold this fall.
Capcom Co. this week announced four new characters to be included in Street Fighter X Tekken.
New characters to be found in the title include Dhalsim, Poison (Final Fight), Steve, and Yoshimitsu.

Sales for Nintendo Co.’s Wii held steady in the latest Japan retail data.
Media Create Co. on Fri. reported that the Wii sold 14,237 units between July 11 and July 17 to rank No. 4 in overall sales.
By comparison, the Wii sold 13,068 units the week prior.
The hardware ranked two titles in the top 10, including Inazuma Eleven Strikers at No. 3 and Wii Sports Resort at No. 9.
StarFox 64 is a remastered version of the Nintendo 64 classic with new 3D functionality.
Nintendo this week it will launch the Nintendo Video service to the Nintendo 3DS July 27.
Nintendo Video will include short 3D videos in music, comedy, animation and Hollywood categories.
OK Go will launch a new music video and deliver the 3D version exclusively to Nintendo Video July 27th.
