Best Buy Co. Inc. stores this week began holding a new ‘Buy 2 Get 1 Free’ Game Sale for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, PSP, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360, and Nintendo Co.’s Wii, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS.

Through July 16, customers who purchase any two video game titles can receive a third at no additional cost.

Advertised titles include NCAA Football 2012, L.A. Noire, Cars 2: The Video Game, and Portal 2.

Meanwhile, Inc. this week is holding a Buy 2 Get 1 Free Game Sale.

Eligible titles include Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition, Shadows of the Damned, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D.

Sony in May began sale of the PS3 160GB Call of Duty: Black Ops Bundle, which includes the PS3 160GB hardware, a copy of Activision Blizzard Inc.’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, the Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC Pack, and a Dualshock 3 Controller at $299.99.

Current Xbox 360 stand-alone SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB hardware at $299.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB hardware at $199.99.

Bundle SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Special Edition Bundle at $399.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundle at $299.99.

Nintendo in May began sale of the Wii Mario Kart Bundle, which includes the Wii hardware, Mario Kart Wii, and a Wii Wheel at $149.99.

Nintendo released Nintendo 3DS handheld launched with 18 software titles Mar. 27.
