Retailer Inc. this week price cut Disney Studios Interactive Inc.’s Cars 2: The Video Game for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360, and Nintendo Co.’s Wii to under $38 in a new game sale.

This week, Cars 2 holds a sale price of $37.99, 24 percent off the $49.99 MSRP.

Amazon this week is concurrently holding a Buy 2 Get 1 Free Game Sale.

Eligible titles include Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition, Shadows of the Damned, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D.

In Cars 2, users train to race with high-tech gadgets at the CHROME international training center.

Race modes include CHROME Missions to hone racing skills, Multiplayer for split-screen local co-op for up to four, Squad Series to play through a series of missions for points, Free Play to customize races, and Garage to view a collection of unlocked cars and DLC vehicles.

The title includes more than 20 vehicles including Lightning McQueen, Mader, and new vehicles like Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell. Each has different properties from acceleration to speed. In addition, the title’s 15 tracks relay global locations, from Tokyo to London to Italy.

Sony in May began sale of the PS3 160GB Call of Duty: Black Ops Bundle, which includes the PS3 160GB hardware, a copy of Activision Blizzard Inc.’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, the Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC Pack, and a Dualshock 3 Controller at $299.99.

Microsoft in Sept. will sell a new limited edition Xbox 360 320GB Gears of War 3 Bundle at $399.99.

Current Xbox 360 stand-alone SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB hardware at $299.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB hardware at $199.99.

Bundle SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Special Edition Bundle at $399.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundle at $299.99.

Nintendo in May began sale of the Wii Mario Kart Bundle, which includes the Wii hardware, Mario Kart Wii, and a Wii Wheel at $149.99.
