Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment Inc. this week said it will offer pre-order bonus incentives for The Lord of The Rings: War in the North for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360, and the PC.

Retailer Amazon.com Inc. will offer an in-game Orc Champion sword and early access to part two of the War in the North Digital Comic.

Best Buy Co. Inc. will offer the Elf Theme Pack and Lothlorian Challenge Map.

GameStop Corp. will offer the Human Theme Pack and Osgiliath Challenge map.

Toys R Us Inc. will offer a signed War in the North poster by Jim Lee parts one and two of the War in the North Digital Comic.

Finally, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. will offer a Dwarf Theme Pack.

The Lord of The Rings: War in the North is an action RPG with three-player co-op functionality.

The final game is said to include upgradeable weapons, character customizations and development, skills, and special abilities.

It will be sold this fall.

Sony in May began sale of the PS3 160GB Call of Duty: Black Ops Bundle, which includes the PS3 160GB hardware, a copy of Activision Blizzard Inc.’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, the Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC Pack, and a Dualshock 3 Controller at $299.99.

Microsoft in Sept. will sell a new limited edition Xbox 360 320GB Gears of War 3 Bundle at $399.99.

Current Xbox 360 stand-alone SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB hardware at $299.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB hardware at $199.99.

Bundle SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Special Edition Bundle at $399.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundle at $299.99.
