Retailer Inc. this week discounted 2K Games and Gearbox Software’s Duke Nukem Forever for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 in a new weekly sale.

This week, Duke Nukem Forever PS3 SKU holds a discount price of $37.99, 37 percent off the $59.99 MSRP.

Additionally, the Xbox 360 SKU holds a sale price of $37.99.

The Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel Edition includes a collectible bust of Duke Nukem, 100-page hardcover book, comic book, radioactive emblem dice, and Duke Nukem postcard series at $89.99 to $99.99.

Duke Nukem Forever is said to include over-the-top weapons, massive levels, and franchise interactivity – including the ability to shoot hoops, lift weights, read adult magazines, draw crude messages on whiteboards, or ogle women in the Duke Nukem universe.

It began sale June 14.

Duke Nukem Forever is the sequel to the 1996 release, Duke Nukem 3D. The title was announced in 1997 and incurred a stalled development process, including a lawsuit between publisher Take Two Interactive and developer 3D Realms. A settlement between the two parties was reached in June 2010.

Sony in May began sale of the PS3 160GB Call of Duty: Black Ops Bundle, which includes the PS3 160GB hardware, a copy of Activision Blizzard Inc.’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, the Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC Pack, and a Dualshock 3 Controller at $299.99.

Microsoft in Sept. will sell a new limited edition Xbox 360 320GB Gears of War 3 Bundle at $399.99.

Current Xbox 360 stand-alone SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB hardware at $299.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB hardware at $199.99.

Bundle SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Special Edition Bundle at $399.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundle at $299.99.
