T-Mobile Inc. this week said it will release the MyTouch 4G Slide, which includes a high-end digital camera, in July.
The 8MP high-end digital camera with dual LED flash is said to include a backside illuminated sensor, zero shutter lag, SweepShot for panoramic shots, ClearShot HDR to capture objects in bright settings, and 1080p high-definiton camcorder functionality.
The MyTouch 4G Slide will include a 1.2Ghz dual-core CPU by Qualcomm, 3.7-inch WVGA super LCD display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.3, and Sense 3.0. It will be manufactured by HTC Corp.
Software includes T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik, Group Text by Bobsled, Dragon Dictation from Nuance, T-Mobile TV, and Netflix.
The device will be sold in two colors – black and khaki – in July at T-Mobile retail stores.
The T-Mobile 4G network currently serves 100 major U.S. markets. It plans to expand and double the speed of its 4G network in 2011.
