T-Mobile USA Inc. this week released the HTC Sensation 4G by HTC Corp. to U.S. retail.

The HTC Sensation 4G includes a 1.2GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm CPU, 4.3-inch Super LCD qHD (540 x 940) capacitive touch screen, 4GB storage, 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash and 1080p HD recording functionality, front-facing camera, 4G support via HSPA+ and Google Inc.’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

The final unit includes HTC’s Sense 3.0 UI with new customizable active lock screen.

The HTC Sensation 4G retails at $199.99 after $50 mail-in rebate.

Amazon.com Inc. this week is selling the device at $179.99 with a new two-year contract.

The T-Mobile 4G network currently serves 100 major U.S. markets. It plans to expand and double the speed of its 4G network in 2011.

Current T-Mobile 4G products include the G2x smartphone and the MyTouch 4G.
