Nintendo Co. this week released Wii Play Motion for the Wii hardware to U.S. retail.

Wii Play Motion includes 12 brand new party games that supports multiplayer functionality for two to four users.

Games include Wind Runner, Grappling Ghosts, Teeter Targets, Veggie Guardin’, and Pose Mii Plus.

In addition the title includes a Wii Remote Plus controller at no additional cost.

Wii Play Motion holds an MSRP of $49.99.

Nintendo in May began sale of the Wii Mario Kart Bundle, which includes the Wii hardware, Mario Kart Wii, and a Wii Wheel at $149.99.

In addition, Nintendo in May began sale of new Nintendo Selects titles for Wii at $19.99 each.

Titles include Wii Sports, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Animal Crossing: City Folk, and Mario Super Sluggers.

The Wii has sold 86 million units worldwide to date since launch in 2006.

Nintendo will release the Wii U, the successor the Wii hardware, in 2012.

The Wii U includes a multi-core CPU by IBM Corp., 1080p high-definition support, and a controller that incorporates a 6.2-inch, 16:9 touch screen.
