EA Inc. this week demonstrated Dance Central 2 for Microsoft Corp.’s Kinect hardware for the Xbox 360 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

Dance Central 2 includes new two-player co-op functionality that allows two users to dance simultaneously.

In a dance to B.O.B‘s Beautiful Girls, the Kinect sensor accurately relayed each user’s dance moves consistently, with both arm, elbow, and leg movement data.

Additional tracks include Rude Boy by Rihanna and DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love by Usher.

The graphics engine was solid at 60 frames-per-second with neon lighting accents in modern dance techniques.

Microsoft in June said it has sold 10 million Kinect and 10 million stand-alone Kinect titles globally.

Kinect, released Nov. 4, sells at $149.99.

Kinect launch titles include Kinect Sports, Kinect Joy Ride, Kinect Adventures!, Kinectimals, Game Party: In Motion, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, Dance Central, The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout, and Sonic Free Riders.

Bundle SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Special Edition Bundle at $399.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundle at $299.99.
