Crystal Dynamics this week demonstrated a new Tomb Raider title for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

In the demonstration, Lara Croft had to unbind herself from a wrap by pushing a nearby corpse into a flame and igniting herself. She subsequently lands on a stake and must pull it from her body.

The new bruised and battered Lara narrowly escapes the dark cave level to an exterior outdoor environment.

The title will be sold in Fall 2012.
