EA Inc. this week said Playstation 3 for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360, and the PC will include a co-op campaign mode.

In a company blog post, developer Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment said the title will have an extensive co-op campaign in addition to a new Battlelog webs destination with social tools, feeds and detailed player stats.

Amazon.com Inc. this week is offering the Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand expansion pack with the pre-order purchase of the product.

Battlefield 3 includes the Frostbite 2 engine, online vehicle warfare with land, sea, and air vehicles, and combat across the U.S., Europe, and Middle East.

It will be released Fall 2011.

Sony in May began sale of the PS3 160GB Call of Duty: Black Ops Bundle, which includes the PS3 160GB hardware, a copy of Activision Blizzard Inc.’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, the Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC Pack, and a Dualshock 3 Controller at $299.99.

Current Xbox 360 stand-alone SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB hardware at $299.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB hardware at $199.99.

Bundle SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Special Edition Bundle at $399.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundle at $299.99.
