Pre-order sales for 2K Games and Gearbox Software’s Duke Nukem Forever for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360, and the PC increased this week at Inc. post announcement that the title is ‘gold’ and ready to manufacture.

This week, Duke Nukem Forever PS3 SKU held a sales increase of 178 percent to rank at No. 165 at Amazon’s Video Games division.

The Xbox 360 SKU held a 62 percent increase to rank at No. 70.

Finally, the PC SKU held a 64 percent increase to rank at No. 172.

Amazon this week is offering a $10 Bonus and $3 MP3 Credit with the pre-order purchase of Duke Nukem Forever.

The Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel Edition includes a collectible bust of Duke Nukem, 100-page hardcover book, comic book, radioactive emblem dice, and Duke Nukem postcard series at $89.99 to $99.99.

Duke Nukem Forever is said to include over-the-top weapons, massive levels, and franchise interactivity – including the ability to shoot hoops, lift weights, read adult magazines, draw crude messages on whiteboards, or ogle women in the Duke Nukem universe.

It will be sold June 14.

Duke Nukem Forever is the sequel to the 1996 release, Duke Nukem 3D. The title was announced in 1997 and incurred a stalled development process, including a lawsuit between publisher Take Two Interactive and developer 3D Realms. A settlement between the two parties was reached in June 2010.

Sony in Feb. began sale of the Playstation 3 160GB Killzone 3 Bundle, which includes the PS3 160GB hardware SKU and a copy of Killzone 3 $299.99.

The PS3 is sold in a 160GB SKU at $299.99 and a 320GB SKU at $349.99.

The Playstation Move Console Bundle includes a new PS3 320 GB SKU with the Playstation Move Controller, Playstation Eye, and Sports Champions at $399.99.

Microsoft in Nov. began sale of the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Special Edition Bundle at $399.99.

The Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundle sells at $299.99.
