Sony Corp. this month detailed new motion capture technology utilized in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception for the Playstation 3.

For Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, developer Naughty Dog Inc. utilized a new internal motion-capture set that allows infra-red cameras to capture actor performances overlay capture data in a simple game environment in real time.

Uncharted 3 Multiplayer will include a loot of brand new modes, including 3 Team Deathmatch for 2 vs. 2 vs. 2, and Free For All.

A new feature in each mode is Power Play which will insert an advantage for the losing team in order to balance the kill score. Conversely the Power Play can allow the winning team to earn more cash to unlock custom add-ons.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will be sold Nov. 11, 2011.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is said to include a brand new epic campaign mode in a search for the ‘Atlantis of the Sands’ to include locations like a derelict chateau in France, to the merciless Arabian Dessert.

The final game will include competitive and co-op multiplayer online functionality and stereoscopic 3D support.

The previous title, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, has sold nearly eight million units worldwide.

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune was a launch title for the PS3 in 2006.

Sony in Feb. began sale of the Playstation 3 160GB Killzone 3 Bundle, which includes the PS3 160GB hardware SKU and a copy of Killzone 3 $299.99.

The PS3 is sold in a 160GB SKU at $299.99 and a 320GB SKU at $349.99.

Playstation Move Console Bundle includes the PS3 320GB SKU, Playstation Move Controller, Playstation Eye, and Sports Champions at $399.99.
