Pre-order sales for Bethesda Softworks’ The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 increased this week amid increased demand for the product.

This week, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim PS3 SKU held a 31 percent sales increase to rank at No. 259 in Amazon’s Video Games division.

The Xbox 360 SKU held a 24 percent sales increase to rank at No. 104 in the same period.

The sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is an open-world fantasy in which users have freedom of choice and the option to choose hundreds of weapons, spells, and abilities.

It will be sold Nov. 11.

The PS3 is sold in a 160GB SKU at $299.99 and a 320GB SKU at $349.99.

Playstation Move Console Bundle includes the PS3 320GB SKU, Playstation Move Controller, Playstation Eye, and Sports Champions at $399.99.

Microsoft in Nov. began sale of the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Special Edition Bundle at $399.99.

The Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundle sells at $299.99.

The Xbox 360 Holiday Bundle, which includes the Xbox 360 250GB hardware, a copy of Forza Motorsport 3 and a voucher to download Alan Wake via Xbox Live, sells at $299.99.
